The Africa-China Urban Initiative shared its plans and priorities at a workshop on Learning the Impact of China's Investments on Land Markets in African Cities. The session was part of the Urban LandMark Annual Conference on theme Moving from Knowledge to Change held on March 13-14, 2013 in Johannesburg. Determining how improved property rights impact on people’s access to urban land, housing, services and livelihoods is a priority for the Africa-China Urban Initiative. The conference was an opportunity to discuss with a range of academic, government, civil society and private sector practitioners in the land, housing and property market sectors.
The programme and full set of presentations can be found at on the 2013 Urban Landmark Conference page.
